P.S. I Hart this: with the band (tee)
One of my year-round wardrobe staples is the band tee. In winter, I pair them with a chunky cardigan and my favorite jeans and sneakers. This summer, I'll wear them with these white jeans, espadrilles and lots of jewelry. Or, just simply over a swimsuit at the beach!
You can dig around on Ebay or Etsy for authentic (and expensive!) originals. But you can get the same look cheaper and faster by buying reproductions.
I like wearing mine oversized and usually order a size up. You can tie the tee like the gal above (source: Fashion Jackson). Or just simply roll up the sleeves for a laidback look.
P.S. These are GREAT for moms! Don't worry about coffee, milk or wine stains, or rips! The more beat-up, ripped-up, love-worn... the better.

Think outside the box -- band tees don't have to be rock'n'roll. This Bob Marley one is so fun for summer! Toss it over a swimsuit and stack up my bracelets.
I LOVE the colorful, bright options like this Beach Boys one below, and this colorful one too! You really can't go wrong with any of the Madeworn options via Revolve. Nordstrom also has a good edit of Madeworn tees.
This Rolling Stones one above is a classic. And so is this Bowie.
I LIVE in this one by Madeworn (below).
Designer/model/mom/mogul Anine Bing has created her own line of tees inspired by band tees- you can find a lot of them on Revolve. I love how she dresses them up with blazers, luxe bags, and crisp denim.

You can't go wrong with any of her tees, like this fun tiger one or this Harley Davidson-esque one below.
